LSCU Announces Award Winners for Volunteer of the Year

TALLAHASSEE, FL – On Thursday, June 15, 2023, the League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates (LSCU & Affiliates) presented the LSCU Awards for Volunteer of the Year at the 2023 Southeastern Credit Union Conference & Expo in Orlando, Florida. The LSCU Awards recognizes credit unions and credit union professionals who have demonstrated exemplary service and accomplished significant achievements in 2022.

The Volunteer of the Year award recognizes credit union volunteers who have selflessly contributed time, effort, and talent to the development of the credit union movement in their state.

The winners of the Volunteer of the Year award are as follows:

• Command Sergeant Major Charlie Miller of Redstone Federal Credit Union (Alabama)

• James “Jim” Notter of BrightStar Credit Union (Florida)

• Harold Harbin of North Georgia Credit Union (Georgia)
