Configure Android Pay

Android Pay is a mobile payment service that lets certain Android® mobile devices make payments at retail and online checkout. Android devices wirelessly communicate with point-of-sale systems using a near field communication (NFC) antenna and encrypted payment utilizing HCE technology (known as Host Card Emulation). HCE technology allows payments to be completed using only the software on the phone.

  • Android devices running Kit Kat (4.0) and above

Where to Use Android Pay
Android Pay is accepted at over a million different merchant locations in the U.S. Select retailers are also integrating Android Pay into in-app payments. For a current list of in-store and online retailers accepting Android Pay, go to android.com/intl/en_us/pay/.

How to Set Up an Existing Google Wallet Credit or Debit Card with Android Pay

  1. Open the Android Pay app
  2. Touch the + sign in the bottom right corner
  3. If you already have linked cards, choose one or touch “add another card”
  4. Confirm additional info manually
  5. Call Redstone Federal Credit Union for final security verification and to complete the process

How to Set Up Additional Credit or Debit Cards with Android Pay

  1. Open the Android Pay app

  3. Touch “add a credit or debit card”
    (If you already have linked cards, choose one or touch “add another card”)
  4. Use the camera to capture your card info or enter it manually
