What People Helping People Truly Means

Redstone Federal Credit Union’s commitment is to serve all of our members and their communities.

How do we do that?

“Redstone Federal Credit Union has established strong relationships within the communities we serve,” says Mary Grace Evans, Assistant Vice President of Community Relations. “We reach out to non-profits, schools, colleges and universities, arts and healthcare organizations and many others through financial education programs, sponsorships and the donation of products for community events and charitable fundraisers.”

Redstone’s community support reaches into Jackson, Limestone, Madison, Marshall and Morgan counties in Alabama and Lincoln and Rutherford counties in Tennessee.

Redstone was a drop-off point for the 2015 WAFF Can-A-Thon. Our community raised 30,679 cans for Christmas Charities Year Round to donate to those in need.

People Helping People is more than just the credit union motto; it is the foundation on which we base our proud community support.

This is what that support looked like in 2015 at Redstone:

  • 286 organizations received sponsorships and/or paid advertising
  • 3,000 volunteer hours donated by Redstone employees to 85 different organizations
  •  23 community events were visited by the Mobile ATM
  •  68 community events where Redstone sponsored a booth to greet and educate attendees

Our community and members are the core of our existence, and we’re proud to support so many organizations, businesses, and people throughout the Tennessee Valley. People Helping People is not just a moto, it is our main point of existence.
