Free 2 Teach has helped provide over one million dollars worth of supplies to teachers in Madison County for free!

At the start of every school year, teachers face a huge problem: with limited resources and funding, most must find alternative sources of funding to buy supplies for their classrooms. This is especially true if they have students from lower-income families, who can’t afford the school supplies their children need. Often times, this leads teachers to spend hundreds of dollars of their own money to provide the classroom essentials their students need. But there is a way you can help relieve this burden and help teachers in Madison County.

Free 2 Teach provides much-needed school supplies for free to the almost 4,000 teachers in Madison County's three public school systems (Huntsville City, Madison City and Madison County). In addition to basic school supplies (# 2 pencils, crayons, glue, copy paper, markers, notebooks, etc.), teachers can shop for office supplies, furniture, books, art supplies, math and science resources, even re-usable 3-D biology models available through the store's new STEM Lending Library. These items help not only the teachers, but the 52,000 students they help educate each year.

Teachers have access to all kinds of resources, all for free, at Free 2 Teach.
“Students need supplies to learn. Teachers need tools to teach. We are the store that connects our teachers with these essential tools and supplies, all for free.” http://www.free-2-teach.org/teachers-2/

“As a former teacher, I know how important it is for a teacher to feel valued and encouraged by their community.  We hope to add a little joy and happiness to each teacher’s day when they shop at Free 2 Teach.”
Eula Battle
