When: Nov. 4–6. Hours vary.

Where: Von Braun Center South Hall, Huntsville, AL

Details: Enjoy Christmas special events, children's activities and more than 100 specialty merchants from 9 states. Find unique gifts for everyone on your holiday shopping list! Proceeds support Randolph School. Mark your calendar for breakfast with Santa, holiday art projects, gingerbread house decorating and more!

Fayetteville Host of Christmas Past



When: Nov. 11–13. Hours vary.

Where: Downtown Fayetteville, TN

Details: Each year, on the second weekend in November, downtown Fayetteville becomes the setting for a magical holiday experience. With an array of music, food, exhibits, shops, candlelight and Christmas spirit, the entire community joins together to promote qualities of Fayetteville. Advance tickets are available for many events.

Mistletoe Market hosted by Scottsboro’s Women League




When: Nov. 18-20. Hours vary.

Where: Goosepond Civic Center, Scottsboro, AL

Details: Enjoy browsing an assortment of holiday gift ideas and local treasures from vendors throughout the Southeast. This upscale Christmas Market is bound to have some goodies for those on your holiday shopping list. Money raised will go to various service organizations throughout Scottsboro.

Santa’s Village



When: Nov. 25–Dec. 23. 5–9 pm nightly.

Where: Alabama Constitution Village, Huntsville, AL

Details: Snow shows, craft projects and musical entertainment all add to the fun at the village Santa calls home! Santa’s Magic Garden will come to life right before your eyes. Christmas trees will talk and sing, while holiday lights magically keep up the beat.  There’s lots to see and do!

A Christmas Carol



When: Dec. 2-4 & 9-11. Various showtimes. 

Where: Fantasy Playhouse Children's Theater in Huntsville, AL 

Details: This Huntsville Holiday tradition is back with a fresh interpretation of the Dickens’ classic! Audiences of all ages are invited to follow Ebenezer Scrooge on a ghostly musical journey through his past, present and future, as he receives the most important Christmas gift of all-redemption through the power of love.

WAFF Holiday Can-A-Thon





When: Dec. 9. 5 am–6 pm

Where: The Atrium at Redstone Federal Credit Union®, Huntsville, AL

Details: Help support your community and fight hunger by donating canned goods during WAFF’s Can-A-Thon. Can we beat last year’s donation of 30,679 cans? Drop off canned good the day of at Redstone’s Atrium on Wynn Drive or drop cans off at any Redstone location the week of!

Mix 96.9 VBC Christmas Parade



When: Dec. 1. 6 pm start time.

Where: Downtown Huntsville, AL

Details: Lighted floats and twinkling vehicles add “wow” to this festive evening event. This year’s theme is Dr. Seuss, so don’t miss out on seeing some of your favorite storybooks come to life! It’s bound to be a fun and silly parade. Watch out for appearances by Thing 1 and Thing 2, and possibly the Grinch himself!

Skating in the Park



When: Nov. 18–Jan. 3, 2017. 4 pm weekdays, weekend hours vary.

Where: Behind the Huntsville Museum of Art at Big Spring Park.

Details: Enjoy a beautiful winter night by ice skating under the stars—perfect for a date night or family outing! Ice skates and scooters available to rent. Do you have a child with a winter birthday? They also host Skating in the Park Birthday Parties. All proceeds support the Huntsville Museum of Art.
