Looking for a great part-time college while you're in college? We have some great suggestions!

As a college student, you might be scrambling to find some cash just to go to the movies or grab something to eat. It can be difficult to juggle a job while taking a full course load and handling all the homework, activities, volunteering and groups—talk about overwhelming! Check out this list of jobs that are not only flexible, but may fall into your strengths, hobbies or future career path.

Work on Campus

Whether it’s in the bookstore, dining hall, or dorms, there are tons of work options conveniently located on campus. If you know what type of career path you want to head down, try to incorporate it into your on-campus job. Want to work with students? Try becoming a tour guide or resident assistant at a dorm. Looking into a career in business or retail? Grab a job at an on-campus store. You’ll earn extra money and receive valuable experience for your resume.

Become a Referee

If you enjoy sports, becoming a referee is a great part-time job! If your campus has intramural sports, that’s a great place to start. You may also look into places like the YMCA or local gyms. Going to school close to home? See if your high school or middle school is in need of a referee.

Tutor

Are you an expert in French or able to easily explain complex math equations? Consider tutoring! Many campuses offer tutoring programs on-campus, or you can offer your skills as a freelancer. If you want something extremely flexible, you can check out becoming a tutor online through a website like Chegg.

Once you land a job, you'll need a checking account. An Easy Checking Account takes $0 to open and has no minimum balance!

Coach

Becoming a coach is a great option if you’re looking for a summer time job. Lots of summer camps and organizations host sports-themed programs and intensives. If you head back home, inquire about coaching jobs with your high school or middle school for summer programs.
