Charity Finders, a Redstone employee group focused on helping local charities, held their June “Donation Journey” for the Community Free Clinic in Huntsville. The Community Free Clinic (CFC) has been open since April of 1999 and helps serve those throughout our community who are in dire need of health resources. Doctors and people throughout our community volunteer their time to provide care for those who have no health insurance and cannot afford to pay for health care.

Charity Finders helped Community Free Clinic for their June donation journey.

Charity Finders, a Redstone employee group focused on helping local charities, held their June “Donation Journey” for the Community Free Clinic in Huntsville. The Community Free Clinic (CFC) has been open since April of 1999 and helps serve those throughout our community who are in dire need of health resources. Doctors and people throughout our community volunteer their time to provide care for those who have no health insurance and cannot afford to pay for health care. 

“The mission of CFC is to provide quality free health care, education and medications to thousands of people in Madison County without health care benefits. The goals and objectives of the CFC are to improve the quality of life for those with few health options through medical treatment and health education.” Hsvfreeclinic.org

Redstone employees came together during the month of June and gathered over 500 items to donate to the clinic! A group of volunteers helped deliver the items to the clinic, which included:

  • 150 boxes of Ziploc® sandwich bags
  • 8 tubes of triple antibiotic cream   
  • 11 sets of disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizer   
  • 10 boxes of Band-aid® bandages
  • 6 bottles of isopropyl alcohol  
  • 60 paper towel rolls
  • 30 toilet paper rolls   
  • 12 bottles of aspirin, Tylenol®, and Advil® 
  • 400 trash bags
  • 50 sets of examination gloves
  • 6 bottles of cough medicine   

The Community Free Clinic in Huntsville has served over 14,000 patients since it opened. The clinic has seen over 14,000 patients since its opening.
