2017 Scholarship Recipients

Scholarships are designated for students attending RFCU®'s partner colleges/universities: Alabama A&M University, J.F. Drake State Community and Technical College, The University of Alabama in Huntsville, Middle Tennessee State University, Oakwood University, Calhoun Community College, and Athens State University. At-large scholarships to other accredited colleges or universities are also available.

The awards are applied to the student's upcoming fall semester. The scholarship program began in 1996 with one partner school and grew nearly each year to include additional partner colleges/universities and at-large schools. Since the program's inception, Redstone has awarded more than $362,000 in scholarships and other monetary donations to colleges and universities.

Redstone Federal Credit Union scholarship applicants must be primary account holders in good standing at Redstone. Applicants must be accepted to or enrolled in an accredited college or university to qualify for the scholarship. Applicants must be pursuing an associate’s or a bachelor’s degree. Must be eligible for membership and open a share savings account. A minimum balance of $5.00 is required to open share savings account and be maintained in share savings account at all times. Fees and other restrictions may apply.
